Macquarie Heads campground

​The Macquarie Heads campground is set on the end of a peninsula not too far from the gorgeous township of Strahan. There are numerous camp sites strewn throughout the dunes both sheltered and in open areas. You can also drive onto the calm side of the beach at low tide to access some more secluded sites. Fires are permitted at times when there is no fire ban. There are drop toilets but no other facilities. A truely lovely spot.
