Reykjadalur -

Small parking lot of the Reykjadalur geothermal area. Parking here is free as opposed to the parking at the visitors center and a much shorter walk to the warm river where you can bathe. From here it is 1,7km downhill to the bathing area. We spent a quiet but windy night. At this time of the year and with good weather conditions the road is passable with a 2WD but better to have 4WD.
