(DT5 2EN) Portland - Yeates road

Great free parking just past the Heights Hotel! Once you drive past the hotel, there’s a sign saying “Free Parking” on the left turning, anywhere on this road is free day and night. It’s just across from a beautiful view point of Chisel Beach that’s a must! Toilets are available at the Heights Hotel if needed. Very flat spot for sleeping, occasional car driving past through the night but not a noisy area. This parking is very close to some much nicer/more scenic spots on here however due to COVID19 lots are blocked off at the moment- definitely worth trying those before here. We watched the sunset up the road, then parked up here for the night.
