Long street with plenty of free parking 24/7. There are signs on both sides saying "No Parking" (right side Tuesdays and Fridays, left side Mondays and Thursdays between 8:00 and 9:30 a.m.). This is due to street cleaning, but since free parking is rare in Manhattan, everyone stays in their cars in their space. When the cleaning crew arrives (which sometimes doesn't happen), everyone only moves temporarily as they pass by and then returns to their space. I would recommend arriving early to secure a spot. I arrived at 11:30 a.m. on a Tuesday and waited about 30 minutes before finding a parking space. Important!!! Keep at least 3 meters away from fire hydrants.
