Starting point for hiking in the Cat Valley. There is space for 2 small vans or maybe 1 large camper van. The valley is beautiful and away from the tourism in Göreme etc. There are multi-story caves to explore and we didn't meet anyone while walking through the valley. The path is not yet properly developed and is currently free to use. An older gentleman told us that a hotel and a kiosk are being built, so it probably won't be untouristy for much longer. There is water a little further up the road. Be careful with large camper vans, the roads in Cat are narrow. Great sunset and view over the valley. There are also fairy chimneys to see :) At sunrise a few hot air balloons fly in the sky and the mayor invited us to tea in his office. There is also a cooperation of 9 women in the village who sell homemade products from the village (Ferfene Cat Karin kooperatifi).
