Parking at the monument, fantastic view with a great sunset, tables, benches and garbage cans available. Danger! Unfortunately, this is only a day parking lot. According to the state ordinance on the Palatinate Forest/North Vosges Biosphere Reserve, it is forbidden to set up caravans or mobile homes outside of the approved sites. This also applies to the designated hiking car parks, where overnight stays are not permitted. Unfortunately, if you get caught, it will be expensive.
