Charteris Bay - 425 Marine Drive

For self-contained vehicles only. Small car park below the road which also serves as a water access ramp for small boats. Toilets available. Swimming possible. It is quiet during the day and even quieter at night. There is a very nice view of the bay. There is no explicit sign but the region's website mentions that you can spend two nights in a row there maximum. In fact, last night, an officer came to take down my registration plate and check my "autonomy" without asking me to leave the premises.
