Bivouac near the river. At 8 in the evening a guy came from the village on a moped to take a picture of our passports. I gave him a copy but he called his boss because he said he needed the original with date of entry in Morocco and I told him the passports were hidden somewhere in the truck. He insisted but was very polite.
The truck can not be seen from the small village, a dozen houses, and somehow they knew we were there. Probably an overzealous village chief, worried about border security.
